Shooting Details
Over the Christmas Holidays we finally started production of our Thriller: RUN!
We started filming at 14:00 our second scene in the opening this is the scene in which the protagonist in the opening is starting to make breakfast and then gets killed by the antagonist.
The Crew that turned up was:
Adam
Toby
Matthew
Jacob
Overall the filming on the day went well with little hiccups as we worked well as a group, the only problem we had was getting the right shots of in the time period as we tried to have interesting shots to engage the audience, during the filming will also filmed the scene where the protagonist gets killed by the the antagonist by a cricket bat.

Prop List
Prop List
PHONE
RADIO
One of the other props that wee will be using is a Radio, this is important to the feel of the movie as we plan to fade the music out of the scene. We chose a radio as it is a simple and reconcilable device that every house has so that it would be easy to find one in a house so it is reliable as the audience will remember the movie when they look at a Radio.
MILK, CEREAL, BREAD
We are also using Milk, Cereal and Bread, we need this as it is needed to progress through the credits. We wanted to use these products as they are very common when someone makes breakfast and is extremely relatable as everyone has at least one of these products in their home.

Location List
Location List
For our opening sequence we intend to use just two different locations, as can be seen in our storyboard and shot list these locations are:
London, we decided to film a number of both well-known landmarks around London such as the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, the London Eye, Piccadilly Circus and Tube signs. And some less well-known places around London including alleyways and skateboards we decided to incorporate these particular locations to remind the target audience of the dark underlying tone of our thriller film. This idea came from the opening sequence of the film series Sherlock. Our other location is going to be a house, in particular the front garden, hallway and kitchen. We have included this due to our opening sequence featuring a murder which we decided would look better and give a certain edge to the film if someone was murdered in their own home.
Final Title Idea
Final Title Idea
We chose this as it clearly shows aspects of the thriller genre as it shows a sense of urgency as it is written in a kinetic manor also it appears to have been written a number of times, makes it appear bold and the fact that it is written a number of times makes you think that the character is nervous.

Prelim Evaluation
The Prelim has showed me how important the start the planning stage is as it tells you how and what to do when it comes to filming. The reason for this is that we had already started filming before we had created the shot list. We had an initial idea of what we wanted before we went out to film and as we started to film we created more and more shots to add to our original idea. Also while editing we changed some of the order and also how the music fitted in to the idea. The challenged we fAced was that on the day of filming our actor was not in instead we had to use one of the camera men to act out the film. The most difficult stage was the planning was we had to think of an original idea for the film that was easy to film and edit in the space of two days. It has made me realise that we need to take our time on planning as we need to make sure that our ideas are solid, before going into production. I would team work skills have improved as we have never worked together before as a group so we all got to know each other together. We will not be doing planing after we done filming as it creates problems in the future, as it mean that we then have to add more shots on to the shot list.
